- Take a #FirstDayUA picture.
- Engage with Project Health sponsored by Health Promotion & Wellness. Learn more by visiting Project Health on Instagram.
- Take a group exercise class with University Recreation.
- Experience the Saturday Farmers Market at the Tuscaloosa Riverwalk, which takes place year-round on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to noon.
- Get breakfast at Rama Jama’s located right outside of Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
- Join Crimson Chaos and sign up for Tide Loyalty Points to support Alabama Athletics all year long.
- Join one of the more than 650 student organizations. Learn more by exploring mySOURCE to see upcoming events and opportunities to get involved.
- Download your free event pass to help you check in for many campus events.
- Stay connected with administrators and behind the scenes at UA. Follow @PresidentMohler and
@BamaVPSL. - Attend a Mind Matters workshop through the Counseling Center. Learn about healthy
relationships, stress management and more. - Celebrate the arts. Attend one of the many performances put on by the UA Department of Theatre
and Dance. - Introduce yourself during your professor’s office hours.
- Check out an event at The Historic Bama Theatre. Join SGA and University Programs for a free
student movie night featuring Project Hail Mary on Thursday, Sept. 3. - Grab a copy of the Crimson White.
- Stop by Fresh Fruit Friday hosted by the Dean of Students and Student Care & Well-Being.
- Join a CSL student volunteer team and give back to the Tuscaloosa community!
- Complete QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) training through the Counseling Center.
- Visit the Paul W. Bryant Museum. Admission is free for UA students.
- Find your favorite Tuscaloosa coffee shop and study spot.
- Meet your academic advisor.
- Hike or bike the more than 23 miles of scenic trails at Lake Lurleen State Park. Catch a ride and check it out for free with UP and SGA for SGA x UP Day at the Lake on Sunday, Sept. 6.
- Take a stroll on the Walk of Champions and watch the Alabama football team walk in on
game days. - Explore the Alabama Museum of Natural History in Smith Hall. Admission is free for UA students.

- Spend an afternoon studying at Gorgas Library.
- Help tell the UA story by getting involved with UA Student Media — student-run broadcast, digital,
online and print media. - Attend a concert at the Moody Music Building Concert Hall.
- Create your Handshake profile through the Career Center.
- Learn about training opportunities and resources provided by the Camellia Center.
- Visit the Capstone Center for Student Success to learn about tutoring and academic support.
